More Changes Coming

As I re-purpose and re-dictate the content each of my sites contain, I thought I would drop in and leave a small update on what is happening.  GregFroning.com is going to contain my resume, buy html5 games site, shop, and also a video section in the near future.  This site, BobHoil.com, will primarily just be my blog and will contain lengthier updates on game development, general life, programming, and whatever I find interesting to write about! So with that said,…

GregFroning.com Redesign & New Game

New Design Ok I have been a little inactive lately here at the blog, but it comes with a few updates!  I have been busy redesigning my other personal site, GregFroning.com, with a brand new look that is focused on delivering information quickly and simply.  This is where I host a link to my resume, a few games/projects, contact information, and of course a link to this blog.  The new design is simple, clean, and gets the job done perfectly….

Next Device, A Chromebook?

Next Device, A Chromebook?

I have long been debating whether to buy a new laptop or what type of device to purchase.  I still use my laptop for development and it is in fine shape, though the battery life has taken quite the hit.   This led me off onto a little thinking spree, and I think my next device may just be a Chromebook.  They have extra battery life over laptops and do basically everything I need to except programming for developing games….

New Look, No Ads

New Look, No Ads

I have gone through and finished updating my site with a new look, though it is similar to the one before It looks a lot cleaner. In the process I went ahead and got rid of the advertisements, that way my content is front and center. Another benefit of getting rid of the ads, the site now loads slightly faster than before. Keep checking back for more updates, next game is coming soon!

“It’s A Journey” Aiming For August Release

“It’s A Journey” Aiming For August Release

“It’s A Journey”, my next game is currently aimed at a full release some time in August, and it will be feature complete and available for purchase.  This game is more of a walking simulator type game and is in the platform view.  You will go through a simple journey where you answer questions, which at the end, influence which ending you get.  The game will have multiple endings so you will be able to have multiple play throughs. There…

Games Are Coming

Games Are Coming

I have been busy lately, but don’t worry the new games are coming.  I have been developing a couple projects on and off over the past few months but they are moving along pretty slowly.  I hope to have more details in the near future. In the short term I do still plan on releasing a couple mini games I have under development, but due to time constraints they are also slightly behind schedule. I hope to start posting up…

New Setup & New Games

New Setup & New Games

I finally got around to getting a second monitor for my PC setup, which makes developing games a lot easier as I don’t have to constantly switch windows. What this means is hopefully I will be able to get my new games done just a little faster, so you can play them earlier. My next game, which is extremely simple HTML5 game, is nearing completion and I will release it today or tomorrow so make sure to check back for…
